Saturday Yoga with Dani

Dani first made it to her mat in her late teens but she didn’t discover the power of yoga as a way of life until over a decade later.

While on a yoga and meditation trip in India – right before our world changed- she felt an overwhelming calling to help her Self and the collective in a deeper way. There was a lack of mind, body and soul connection she felt in her days and something told her studying the yogic philosophy in a deep way was the direction she should point her compass.

Dani believes the time spent on your mat can catapult you to living your days fully with more joy and ease. She enjoys not only the asana (physical movement) aspect of yoga but also incorporates pranayama (breathwork) and moving meditations into her classes for full access to the parts of mind, body and spirit that need special attention.

She finished her teacher training at Devanadi School of Yoga in Minneapolis in August 2020 and loves sharing the magic yoga has to offer. Whether taking Eagle pose in the woods while watching them swoop the Mississippi or doing deep yogic breathing during conference calls, Dani lives her Yoga on and off the mat. Sunday Yoga with Amanda

Dr. Amanda Brees, Ed.D. is a certified yoga therapist/advanced (500 hour) yoga teacher, reiki master teacher, and relationship trauma counselor who lives in Pepin, WI.

Dr. Brees started practicing yoga and reiki in 2003, became certified in 2013, and holds a peer-reviewed research specialty in faith-based yoga therapy for complex trauma. Her classes are all-level and combine equal parts flow with yin and meditative/reiki practices for a complete somatic release.
