Our growing Mediterranean-style winery includes a large retail tasting room, a 70 seat restaurant, 150 seat al fresco dining in our piazza, a 300 person event center, a state of the art winery production facility and our new red wine production facility with a barrel hall, Vin che Dorme, for aging wines.
We are open all year except for a few holidays. Summer and fall are our busiest seasons with weekends busier than weekdays. Villa Bellezza represents a great opportunity for seasonal, part-time work especially in our tasting room and restaurant. We provide training in wine appreciation, wine sales, wine and food service, food preparation, and wine making. We also provide “An Introduction to Villa Bellezza” so that our staff can provide excellent service to customers.
In addition to people living in the area, we hire work campers who work for a season, typically from May through October.
COVID-19: We try to provide as safe a place to work as possible during this pandemic. We require masks of all staff and customers except when eating or drinking. We have installed ionization units to kill the virus in the duct work of our heating and cooling systems. We have moved as much activity as possible outdoors. In the summer, the Piazza Bellezza has 150 socially-distanced tables. In the winter, there are 44 seats in the porticos facing our piazza with heaters where we also provide faux furs for customers. The Il Forno dining room is open in the winter with 20 socially distanced tables. We have placed screens with passthroughs at each tasting station to allow customers to taste our wines while maintaining a safe distance between customers and staff. Every day, we sanitize our spaces and take the temperature of all staff. Staff showing an elevated temperature or any symptom of illness are not allowed to work.
